ChronicPainSite.com Foundation - 501(c)(3)
Began in June 2008 when two friends living with, or caring for a loved one with chronic pain decided to join forces to help others. There is no charge to join our website. We are eager for people of all ages, and with chronic pain of any type to unite with us and help us grow into a loving, and caring community.

Our Mission
Dedicated to providing guidance in the comprehension and management of chronic pain. We believe that the well-informed person has the ability to take charge of their pain rather than having pain take charge of them.

Our Goals
Recognizing that chronic pain is reaching epidemic proportions and must be better understood, managed and properly treated.

Being Advocates for those in chronic pain. Understanding that many are unemployed, not insured, and too many people are unable to find adequate medical help for pain relief. We want to provide information on how they may receive assistance with chronic pain issues.

Establishing and promoting a multidisciplinary approach for the treatment of chronic pain. This includes but is not limited to education thereby empowering the person's knowledge of pain medications and alternative therapies in the fight against pain.

On a very personal note, I am a cancer survivor of Stage 4 Hodgkin's Lymphoma with chronic fatigue, pulmonary fibrosis, and chronic pain symptoms that changed what I was able to do before my diagnosis and treatment. I join my wife, Stevie and John on our journey to help all people with chronic pain.

John Lug, SYSOP
Co-founder of ChronicPainSite.Com Foundation

RonJon Have created sites for Auction Houses, Search Directories, Civic Chambers, Real Estate Companies and more.

I got involved in this due to my "Significant Other" (Wife and Life Partner in all things) has suffered over 14 years with back problems, up to and including 3 - 8 hour plus spinal surgeries with no improvement and constant pain. I have learned a lot about Chronic Pain, but there is always more to learn, and creating this site will help others AND myself learn more ways to deal with the pain and limited abilities due to Chronic Pain.

Secretary of Chronicpainsite.com Foundation

Due to an accident at work I have had a few surgeries on my low back and am now disabled because of chronic pain and failed back surgery. I joined chronic pain site shortly after it was up and running.

I have learned a lot about my injury and myself through this web site. It's a place where people understand the ups and downs of depression, chronic pain, medication and more. A place where people are helping people by being educated by other member's issues and support and through the knowledge gained by reading the articles and other professional guidance on the site.

Even my doctor is impressed with my increased activity and knowledge of my condition. I have found by being educated, we are all better able to deal with our issues.
